GetYourDrive helps fleets transition to electric vehicles

The Hamburg-based start-up Getyourdrive has developed an all-in-one leasing platform that aims to help fleet operators switch their fleets from conventional to electric drives more quickly. The company analyzes the current fleet to determine which electric vehicle is worthwhile for which driver, covering the entire market offering of models. Especially in light of long delivery times, the company aims to provide relief. In 2021, the share of contracts brokered in the hybrid and electric sector amounted to 90 percent, almost doubling compared to the previous year. The company points to its extensive dealer network, which provides access to all brands and models. Additionally, the car subscription concept can be used to bridge delivery times, during the probationary period, or as an alternative to the classic leasing model.

Sustainable Mobility Concept

Especially in a city like Hamburg, switching to electric makes sense as the infrastructure for electric vehicles is already well developed; charging stations and parking spaces for electric and hybrid vehicles are available – as of June 2021, according to Stromnetz Hamburg, there were 1,300 public charging points. The aim is to make it easier for small and medium-sized enterprises to switch to electric or hybrid vehicles thanks to the offered leasing platform. Instead of dealing with the difficult and complicated procurement of an electric car themselves, a vehicle can be organized simply and transparently and delivered to their doorstep. The provider also touts the higher flexibility in designing and efficiently managing the fleet, they promise. The online leasing platform was founded in 2018 in Hamburg by Konstantin Klein (Managing Director), Philip Kneissler, and Ralf Knaier.
