Ford: 50,000th Mustang Mach-E goes to Germany

The Ford dealership Ebbert GmbH in Gütersloh has delivered the 50,000th Ford Mustang Mach-E in Europe to a customer in Germany. The "anniversary customers" are Hakan and his wife Berrin Can from Warendorf (North Rhine-Westphalia). Hakan Can was particularly impressed by the design, the generous space, and the overall technical package, and he is convinced that electric vehicles are the future. "So far, I have found the development of electric vehicles to be not yet sufficiently mature," he explained. What ultimately convinced him to purchase a fully electric vehicle was primarily environmental concerns: E-cars are emission-free in operation, and they also run almost silently. Can can charge the vehicle in the immediate vicinity of his workplace. In the future, he plans to "refuel" it using self-generated electricity from his solar panels.

"For us as a company, but also for our Ford dealerships, the delivery of the 50,000th Mustang Mach-E is a milestone on our shared path towards an electrified future. Later this year, Ford will bring another fully electric model series to the market in Europe. It will be built in Cologne," explained Patrick Schenzler, Ford Director of Passenger Cars for the DACH markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
