Fleet One & CamCom: VW dealers assess vehicle damage via app and AI
The Germany-based fleet management company Flotte Eins has announced a strategic collaboration with CamCom Technologies from India. The main goal of this partnership is the implementation of the AI-powered CamCom platform for digital vehicle damage assessment.
"We at Flotte Eins are very pleased to have CamCom Technologies, an emerging and internationally operating partner, by our side. This not only broadens our scope in damage assessment but also offers completely new possibilities to workshops and our customers," said Jörg Brand, Managing Director of Flotte Eins.
The start-up CamCom has developed a software that can visually analyze the condition of a vehicle using mobile devices with the help of artificial intelligence. The technology promises to provide both workshops and customers with comprehensive and neutral transparency in the damage assessment process.
"Manual damage inspections are labor-intensive and subjective, slow and prone to errors. With this technology, we eliminate subjectivity and make the business future-proof, improve efficiency, and enable simple and understandable scalability. We want to enable Fleet One to create a unique digital overview for each managed vehicle, thus creating a competitive advantage to increase customer satisfaction," said Geetha Sham, board member and Chief Experience Officer (CXO) of CamCom.
CamCom Technologies, known as a pioneer in the use of AI for visual inspections, is headquartered in Bangalore, India, and also has an office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company has already established a presence in various regions such as India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the USA.
