Fiat Scudo 3: New Look, More Connectivity, and More Efficiency as an Electric Vehicle

At Stellantis subsidiary Fiat, the Scudo compact van from Series 3 is now available for order. The body versions available are Panel Van and Multicab in two lengths as well as the chassis for both drive variants. The van can also be ordered as a Flexcab with two body lengths and is available with turbo diesel engines in three output levels. The entry-level model is the 1.5 BlueHDI 120, which provides 88 kW (120 hp), with a base price starting at 29,300 euros net. In the two-liter variant, the four-cylinder turbo diesel produces 106 kW (144 hp) or 130 kW (177 hp). Both engines comply with the Euro 6d-ISC-FCM emission standard. Depending on the engine version, a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission is installed.

From mid-September, there will also be a Fiat E-Scudo, which will continue to be powered by a 100 kW electric motor (equivalent to 136 hp). Customers have the choice between two battery sizes: the 50 kWh battery guarantees a range of up to 224 kilometers, while the 75 kWh battery allows for up to 351 kilometers (both according to the WLTP cycle). Efficiency is said to have improved thanks to three-stage recuperation and optimized battery management, and there is also a heat pump.
