Fiat responds to weaker demand: 500e available with bargain leasing
Stellantis subsidiary Fiat is apparently responding to the declining demand for the electrically-powered small car and is reducing the leasing rates. Until July 23, the compact electric vehicle is available to private customers with monthly rates starting at 129 euros, which vary depending on the annual mileage or the down payment. The Fiat 500 Electric models available as part of the promotion are also immediately available, advertises the manufacturer. In 2022, the model was one of the best-selling purely electric vehicles in Germany with the higher subsidy. The promotional model features a 42 kWh battery for a range of up to 320 kilometers according to the WLTP cycle and 460 kilometers in the WLTP City. The battery charges to 80 percent in 35 minutes in fast charging mode with 85 kW. Standard equipment includes seat covers made from Seaqual recycled material, which consists of approximately ten percent plastic collected from the ocean. The remaining portion consists of recycled plastics from land-based sources.
