Fiat 500e Leasing: Long-distance travel by train - Everyday life in an electric car
The Stellantis subsidiary Fiat has started a cooperation with Deutsche Bahn, combining a DB voucher with the leasing of the electrically powered Fiat 500e. As part of the "Fiat Mobility Leasing" program, customers receive a vehicle and a one-time DB voucher worth 500 euros for a leasing rate starting at 129 euros per month. Through this needs-based mix of transport modes, the partners aim to offer an electrified, sustainable mobility solution for every need. This offer is specifically aimed at customers who only occasionally have to travel long distances and do not want to worry about locating charging stations, according to the manufacturer. Unlike car-sharing offers, however, the vehicle is available at all times. The strengths of the vehicle are seen in city and short-distance traffic with known and integrated charging options in daily life, rather than on long distances.
For the new program, the electrically-powered city car is available as a new special action model with a favorable price. With a battery capacity of 23.8 kilowatt-hours, the Fiat 500e Action enables a range of up to 257 kilometers (WLTP) in urban areas. Fast charging is possible with up to 50 kilowatts. Within the 24-month term, the 500-euro DB voucher can be redeemed for Deutsche Bahn travel. Tickets for individual train journeys are possible, as well as reservations or various BahnCard options. With this offer, leasing customers can protect their vehicle and limit mileage - a positive aspect when determining the residual value at the end of the lease. In addition to the special model, other model versions of the Fiat 500e can also be combined with the special leasing, with each having an adjusted monthly rate.
Generous Standard Equipment
The electric motor of the small electric car delivers 70 kW (95 hp). The standard equipment of the special model includes, among other things, the body color Ocean Green, 15-inch style rims, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, electric front windows, and a 7-inch TFT color display as the central instrument. The standard audio system also receives digital radio stations (DAB+). On board is also the "Smart Audio" system, Bluetooth or Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for mirroring, as well as inductive smartphone charging.
The vehicle is equipped as standard with all the driver assistance systems that are particularly relevant in the city, including the fatigue assistant, which monitors the driver's concentration, the autonomous emergency brake assistant, which can also recognize dangerous situations involving cyclists and pedestrians, as well as the lane keep assistant and traffic sign recognition. Additionally, a keyless start system ("Keyless Go"), electric parking brake, and an additional USB-C port in the console between the two front seats for connecting and charging smartphones are on board.
