Eurobike 2023: Metz introduces cargo bike and pedelec charging station

The Fürth-based pedelec manufacturer Metz mobility has announced an extension of its portfolio at Eurobike in Frankfurt (June 21-25) to include a long-tail e-cargo bike and a pedelec parking and charging station. The so-called "Cycle Point" is an automated charging and parking facility for e-bikes, which is useful in areas such as sharing or corporate bike fleets. It allows businesses, municipalities, neighborhood developers, courier services, as well as rental and sharing providers to maintain a fleet of always ready and fully charged Metz e-bikes without manual effort and at low installation and operating costs, promotes the manufacturer.

On the bicycle side, in addition to the price/performance test winner at Bike-Bild, the compact universal pedelec E-PACKR, the company is showcasing the new flagship of the pedelec series, the Longtail E-PACKR XL, as well as the E-PACKR XL CP. This is seen as a sustainable transport solution for families and businesses. The very lightweight bike, at 35 kilos, is designed to stand out with its compact dimensions and high variability, and also with a price starting at 4,999 euros, which is considered fair given the offerings. With the help of the self-developed carrier system "MTS", carrying long and bulky items should be no problem. Following the example of the pioneer tern, the PACKR XL can also be parked upright.
