Erni's Electrifying Tricks: Charging with Load Management
She explained that the electric car market is now at a point where more and more people own electric cars and want to charge them at home. After all, 80 percent of charging processes take place at home. "A unified solution is therefore urgently needed," she emphasized. "As soon as two or more charging stations are present in a garage, load management must be installed to prevent overloading the house connection."
Mama Zündel warned of a proliferation of charging stations, which could lead to incompatible or non-compliant stations having to be replaced soon. "Many individual stations cannot be integrated into load management or do not reliably respond to control software," she explained. "This is neither economically nor ecologically sustainable."
The neighbors nodded in agreement and recognized the urgency of a unified and, above all, future-proof solution. Together they decided to introduce a charging infrastructure with a dynamic load management system.
They placed great emphasis on ensuring that only compliant charging stations, which are completely safe, were installed. User-specific billing was also essential to prevent disputes over costs.
What does that mean?
Thus, they would not only sustainably meet the current electric car owners' charging needs but also be prepared for the future when more neighbors switch to an electric vehicle. If only everything always went so harmoniously!
