Flix is getting a new minority shareholder and additional capital. Investors EQT and Kühne are acquiring 35% of the bus and train operator, as EQT and Flix announced.

To achieve this, they plan to invest in Flix as well as acquire shares from existing investors. The goal is a "long-term anchor participation".

Flix initially did not comment on the volume of the entry and how much money would flow into the company. The "Handelsblatt" reports, citing financial and investor circles, a total sum of around 900 million euros.
