EnBW and Deka Immobilien cooperate for HPC charging network
The energy provider EnBW and Deka Immobilien have announced a cooperation and will initially equip six retail properties with fast-charging infrastructure. The locations each feature numerous stores, according to the provider. Each site will have at least four HPC (High-Power-Charging) charging points with an output of up to 300 kilowatts each.
"For many electric car drivers, charging the electric car and the weekly shopping trip are closely connected – and not just figuratively. Since the charging time fits perfectly with the duration of shopping, both can be well combined: Here, our customers can charge up to 400 kilometers of range in twenty minutes – after shopping, the battery is fully charged again," promotes Timo Sillober, who, as Chief Sales & Operations Officer, is also responsible for electromobility at EnBW.
With Deka Immobilien, they have a partner whose locations are also attractive for our customers. Overall, the two companies are expanding the fast-charging network by another 36 charging points in the Rhine-Main area, in Hannover, and in Cologne. Additional locations may follow.
