EnBW and BW Bank start charging rate for Giro extend
The Baden-Württemberg energy company EnBW is further rounding out its portfolio of charging solutions and is offering, starting from April 1, 2022, BW-Bank customers an exclusive charging tariff for e-cars as part of the extend value-added checking account. This provides them access to the HyperNetz, which spans over 200,000 charging points across nine European countries, as well as fixed prices of 0.38 euros per kilowatt-hour at AC charging stations and 0.48 euros per kilowatt-hour at DC fast chargers. At charging points operated by other providers within the EnBW HyperNetz, the cost per kilowatt-hour is 0.45 euros (AC) or 0.55 euros (DC). After registering, all users receive a starter package with a free EnBW mobility+ charging card, branded in the BW-Bank design.
“Our partnership with BW-Bank opens up easier access to more people for sustainable mobility. At the same time, it demonstrates the high value of our rapid expansion of the nationwide fast-charging infrastructure and, above all, our multiple award-winning e-mobility solutions for e-car drivers,” explains Timo Sillober, Chief Sales and Operations Officer and responsible for e-mobility at EnBW, regarding the cooperation.
Cara Schulze, Head of Sustainability at the LBBW Group, to which BW-Bank belongs, is also convinced of the joint offer and sees sustainability as one of the bank’s strategic goals. The joint special charging tariff extend chargeE is a strong addition to extend value-added checking accounts.
