Eliso: More fast chargers in Paderborn and Magdeburg

The Stuttgart-based charging infrastructure specialist eliso, a subsidiary of the French Vinci Group, has put three ultra-fast charging stations into operation at two locations. “The commissioning of ultra-fast charging stations at two new locations is another important step for eliso,” says founder and managing director Johannes Brodführer. Last year, the company announced a partnership with Paderborn/Lippstadt Airport to meet its growing need for fast charging stations for passengers and visitors. Now the planning phase has been completed, the grid connection with a transformer station has been installed, and the commissioning and design of the associated parking spaces have been completed. The public charging park is equipped with two Alpitronic Hypercharger HYC300 ultra-fast charging stations, offering a total of four connections. Thanks to the 300 kW fast charging technology, not only can drivers picking up or dropping off passengers charge their electric vehicles for the next 100 kilometers within five minutes, but also commuters who benefit from the direct connection to the A44 motorway.

“With the new ultra-fast charging stations, we are expanding our service offering for passengers and visitors to our airport. The new equipment fits perfectly into our service concept. As an airport of short distances, we want to offer the best service at an airport nationwide. Current surveys of passengers show that we are on the right track in this important area. Holidaymakers are increasingly making their decision for an airport location based on the right price-performance ratio – and here, service and friendliness play a very important role,” emphasizes Roland Hüser, managing director of Paderborn/Lippstadt Airport.
