Ebusco 3.0: First EU Approval for Composite Bus - 575 Kilometers Range
Ebusco has received EU type approval for the Ebusco 3.0. With this certificate, the innovative bus model with batteries in the vehicle floor and lightweight construction using composite materials such as carbon meets all EU safety, environmental, and production requirements. This grants the e-bus road approval, allowing it to be registered in all EU member states.
Range of up to 575 km
The Ebusco 3.0 is a revolutionary model. It features a lightweight composite body based on aerospace technology, is significantly lighter, achieves a substantially greater range of up to 575 km on a single charge, and has an estimated average lifespan of 25 years.
I am proud that we have reached another important milestone: The Ebusco 3.0 is the first composite material bus to receive this EU type approval. It is a real gamechanger globally in our industry and is now officially approved for the EU market. With this approval and the resources obtained through our recent IPO for our international expansion strategy, we are well positioned to benefit from the growing market and to implement our launch plan. (CEO Peter Bijvelds)
