EasyMile opens research hub at Tegel Airport

55 Million Euro Funding Round Successfully Completed

According to the company, last year it successfully completed a Series B funding round of 55 million euros. The funding was aimed at facilitating the completion of EasyMile's product and technology roadmap while accelerating international expansion and customer service. The French-origin company has been based in Germany since 2017 and has been recording strong growth annually. Now, it is expanding not only its team in Berlin but also its facilities and intends to advance research and development activities here. The goal is to be able to offer efficient and fast customer service to the "existing operational business."

The provider specializes in software and complete solutions for autonomous passenger and goods transport and collaborates with blue-chip manufacturers to automate their products with its technology. It follows a "Safety-by-Design" approach, utilizing standardized and certified processes in manufacturing and development. Since 2014, the company has established itself in high-value deliveries and operations under extreme conditions. The technology has brought autonomous vehicles to more than 300 locations in over 30 countries, the provider advertises.
