e.GO Mobile: Neymar becomes brand ambassador and presents new model

The Aachen-based electric small car manufacturer Next.e.GO Mobile SE has announced the signing of a global partnership with the company NR Sports, which is responsible for the career management of Neymar Jr. The Brazilian athlete is one of the most influential and renowned footballers in the world and will be the new global brand ambassador for e.GO Mobile.

“Neymar Jr. embodies creativity and determination—I call it the Power of Purpose. This aligns very well with our brand values and brought e.GO Mobile and Neymar Jr. together. With combined efforts, we will now drive a wave of change towards a more sustainable and emission-free world; a wave like the one you see in the stadium, but electric,” explains Ali Vezvaei, Chairman of the Board at Next.e.GO Mobile SE.

The top footballer is also set to unveil the company's 2022 product line called e.wave X at an exclusive event in Berlin on May 5. He expressed his excitement to start this partnership with e.GO Mobile and support their global commitment to sustainable electric mobility. He sees e.GO Mobile as a very innovative brand that builds electric vehicles that are not only unique and truly sustainable but also fun to drive.

"I was born and raised in a country with heavy urban traffic, so the positive ecological and economic impacts of electric mobility are enormous," explains Neymar Jr.

The Brazilian is widely regarded as one of the best football players in the world. He began his professional career at just 17 years old. With a fan base of around 200 million people on social media, he is undoubtedly one of the most well-known athletes globally, which led to his inclusion in the Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world. Neymar Jr. plays for the Brazilian national team and is currently contracted with the French football club Paris Saint-Germain.
