From now on, DKV Mobility customers can use over 1,500 charging points connected to the Electric Highway by Gridserve, a public charging network in the United Kingdom. This follows an agreement between the two companies.

They could be used via the DKV Card +Charge or the Mobility App and have a capacity of up to 360 kilowatts.

"The charging stations from Gridserve are operated with 100 percent renewable solar energy," says Sven Mehringer, Managing Director Energy & Vehicle Services at DKV Mobility.

According to Mehringer, they want to offer customers innovative eMobility solutions and drive the transition to an efficient and sustainable future of mobility.

“With strong partners, we can accelerate the introduction of electric vehicles and make emission-free transport a reality,” explained Sam Clarke, Commercial Lead of Gridserve.

E-charging network for trucks to follow

According to the information, most of the charging points of the Gridserve Electric Highway are located along the UK motorway network, at busy retail locations in the UK and at the so-called Electric Forecourts.

Gridserve is also planning to introduce its network for electric trucks in the future.

According to its own information, DKV Mobility currently offers access to around 827,000 charging points in the European EV charging network. In addition to this, charging solutions for customers' company locations and for company car drivers at home are also offered.
