The Dortmund-based charging technology specialist Compleo Charging Solutions AG plans to merge with Schlangen-based wallbe GmbH, which according to its own statements, is a leading provider of charging solutions in electromobility. The company manufactures charging stations and wallboxes for electric vehicles and offers a cloud-based operational service. With the merger, they aim to expand their team of experts as well as their product portfolio and hope to significantly increase their market share. In addition to its locations in Germany, wallbe is also represented in Sweden. From Dortmund's perspective, the portfolios of both providers complement each other. The partner has a cloud-based backend system for installation companies and PV-integrated wallboxes and offers intelligent ad-hoc payment and billing functions with debit and credit cards. The latter is increasingly requested by customers and consumers. In the course of the sale of wallbe, enercity AG and Weidmüller GmbH & Co. KG are again participating in Compleo. The total package of all new shareholders is less than four percent in relation to the total capital of Compleo Charging Solutions AG. Both companies see great success opportunities in the merger in addressing the rapidly growing market. The market positioning of Compleo remains unchanged after the merger, it continues to say.
