Citkar: Loadster delivers for local trade in Bottrop and Bochum

The four-wheeled e-cargo bike Loadster from the Berlin manufacturer Citkar is now also in use in two cities in North Rhine-Westphalia. In the city of Bochum, "Bochum brings it" delivers "The best from the city to your home!" emissions-free and quietly. Orders can be placed with participating Bochum retailers, and their products will be delivered to customers on the same day or the next business day at the latest. Additionally, the Loadster also supports the fleet of Louise Bottrop, the free delivery and shopping service in the Ruhr area city. Whether it's a grocery purchase, decorative items, books, clothing, or a delicious meal – the local service ensures climate-neutral transport from the company to the customers. The manufacturer was pleased that the use of its e-cargo bike in more and more cities not only supports the transition to emission-free transport solutions but also benefits local small businesses, which have had to develop new shopping concepts, especially in recent months.

The cargo e-bike is intended to offer a combination of bicycle and car, being stable, reliable, and intuitive to operate. With a powerful e-motor (100 Nm), the rider is assisted while pedaling, allowing for the transport of loads of up to 200 kilograms. The cabin is designed to protect against wind and weather. The vehicle comes in three versions: Pure, Life, and Max, and it transports 640 liters in a box, or optionally up to 1,350 liters of cargo in Euro pallet dimensions.
