The French supplier and technology group Valeo has announced a series of innovations for CES in Las Vegas that aim to shape the mobility of tomorrow, particularly setting accents in the area of "software-defined vehicles."

“As vehicles rely more and more on software, Valeo has become the most important partner for automobile and technology companies for the mobility of tomorrow. The group's expertise in software-defined vehicles is comprehensively showcased, including enhanced vehicle performance technologies and improved driver experiences, all aimed at creating more sustainable, safer, and more connected vehicles," says Christophe Perillat, CEO of Valeo.

Valeo acts as an important partner for mobility players and technology companies and has been represented at CES since 2014. As usual, the company is operating out of two locations: At Valeo's Central Plaza stand CP709, the company's latest technologies supporting electrification, ADAS, lighting, and sustainability will be presented. There will also be a live demonstration area at the Piero parking lot, 355 Convention Center Drive, showcasing a full range of software-defined vehicle solutions (SDV).

    Further Highlights at a Glance:

    • Software-Defined Vehicle: At CES 2025, Valeo will present its entire range of solutions, including new services to make our testing and validation solutions accessible to the industry thanks to our partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
    • vOS, Valeo's Middleware to Support All SDV Functions: The vOS middleware forms the backbone of vehicle software and enables seamless integration across domains. It supports over-the-air updates to ensure that vehicles remain up-to-date after production and offers scalability to expand computing power as needed throughout the vehicle’s lifespan.
    • Valeo LiDAR-ScalaTM, Making Level 3 Autonomous Driving a Reality: After more than ten years of development and more than five years of production, Valeo’s premier LiDAR is already in production in passenger cars around the world. At CES 2025, Valeo will present a Mercedes-Benz EQS equipped with Drive Pilot, featuring Valeo LiDAR SCALA 2TM. This car can drive up to 95 km/h in Germany, making it the fastest L3 system on the market. Additionally, we will present a live demonstration of the Valeo LiDAR SCALA TM 3.
    • Valeo AssistXR: For the first time at CES 2025, a new software solution based on Amazon Web Services will be presented, which expands the possibilities of remote assistance by collecting information from the vehicle and its environment to enable more efficient emergency assistance (eCall) and assistance in emergencies due to breakdowns, damage (bCall), or service missions (sCall).
    • Augmented Panovision, the Latest Display Generation: These solutions help the driver focus on the road, reduce distractions while driving, and provide additional infotainment options when the vehicle is stationary.
    • Front Fascias: The front of the Lynk & Co Z10 is equipped with 224 RGB LEDs, a world first for a production vehicle. The 256 available lighting colors reflect a strong market trend towards more design identity and information on the front fascia. The light function is provided by the ultra-thin Valeo ThinBilite headlights, which are only 15 mm high.
    • Powering Vehicles with New Energy: The transition to new energy vehicles is transforming the automotive industry. Thanks to its strong positioning and comprehensive solution portfolio for 12V, 48V, and high-voltage applications, Valeo offers solutions for all vehicle types, from traditional internal combustion engines to BEV, PHEV, and electric vehicles.
    • Circular Economy: Valeo will introduce the industry's first remanufactured video camera with Stellantis, which reduces the consumption of natural resources by up to 99%, as well as its remanufactured high-voltage inverters with “The Future is Neutral” (Renault and Suez).
