CES 2024: Togg Unveils Sedan T10F

Togg does not see itself as a car manufacturer, but as a "device manufacturer." Depending on the drivetrain, the T10F is supposed to offer up to 600 km of range and will be available in three variants: Standard Range RWD (350 km range with 52.4 kWh battery), Long Range RWD (600 km range with 88.5 kWh battery), and Long Range AWD (530 km range also with 88.5 kWh battery). In terms of power, Togg has gone big: the Long Range AWD now puts out 320 kW (435 hp) from two motors, allowing it to shoot to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. The rear-wheel-drive models use the typical Togg 160-kW motor.

In the format between mid-size and upper mid-size class

At 4.83 meters in length, the car is half a class smaller than the VW ID.7: Its trunk holds 500 to 1,350 liters, while the ID.7 holds 532 to 1,600 liters. The basis is also the C-segment platform used for the T10X SUV – with a monocoque made of high-strength steel – because the T10F aims for a five-star Euro NCAP rating and is equipped with multiple safety systems, protecting its occupants with seven airbags. Togg lists a drag coefficient (cW value) of 0.226.

The charging boost from 20 to 80% is supposed to be achievable within 28 minutes for both batteries, and DC charging up to 180 kW is possible. Togg is also introducing V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) technology, making the T10F a power source for other devices. M. Gürcan Karakaş, the CEO of Togg, stated at the T10F's introduction in Las Vegas:

"The T10F demonstrates our commitment to changing the mobility landscape and is an expression of our vision, where innovative technology aligns with sustainable individual transportation and enhances our lives. Our devices are not just about getting from A to B, but comprehensive solutions that help us manage our daily lives more easily."

And that’s reflected inside the also Pininfarina-designed T10F: The car is unlocked via a smartphone app or keycard. Inside, like the T10X, there is a 12.3-inch instrument display and a 29-inch touchscreen side by side – the whole thing running across the entire width of the vehicle. The screens are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
