CES 2024: Goodyear and ZF Announce Partnership

The mobility provider Goodyear and the technology group ZF announce their collaboration in the field of tire intelligence technologies combined with vehicle motion control software at CES 2024. As part of the new partnership, Goodyear SightLine will be integrated into the ZF cubiX ecosystem, a scalable vehicle motion control software that coordinates various dimensions of vehicle dynamics. This will allow additional tire and road data to be fed into the vehicle.

Reduce Aquaplaning Risk

The Goodyear SightLine solution reduces the risk of aquaplaning by detecting dangerous situations early and providing recommendations for optimal speed to improve vehicle control. Additionally, the cubiX software can assist in detecting aquaplaning by using tire data to instruct the chassis actuators to take corrective actions and stabilize the vehicle.

Furthermore, Goodyear SightLine with cubiX can achieve improved vehicle responsiveness, more direct and linear steering, optimized turn-in behavior, higher stability, reduced workload on the control unit, and minimization of disruptive interventions.
