Cargo Cycling and Metrucks cooperate in production and sales

Nijland Cycling B.V. and its subsidiary brand Cargo Cycling have announced a strategic partnership with the Schwäbisch-Hall start-up Metrucks. The aim is to revolutionize urban mobility with the Metrucks Doer E-cargo quad. The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is intended to underpin the potential cooperation in production, sales, and service. Nijland Cycling B.V. will oversee the final assembly of the Metrucks Doer vehicles and utilize its expertise to ensure high quality and craftsmanship standards. The Dutch company will also manage the sales and marketing activities for the Metrucks Doer outside of Germany. Metrucks GmbH will remain responsible for the production and distribution of the Doer for the German market.

The cargo quad, which was also a candidate for the "Cargobike of the Year" award, aims to set new standards in urban traffic and features customer-oriented functions such as modular components for customizable solutions and a reinforced weatherproof cabin for increased comfort.
