BUS2BUS moves to next year

BUS2BUS moves to the year 2022. This decision was made by Messe Berlin in consultation with national and international market leaders and the German Bus and Coach Operators Association (bdo). The next edition of Germany's only exclusive trade fair for the bus industry will take place on April 27 and 28, 2022, in Berlin. At the originally scheduled date in April 2021, there will be an exciting digital live event called the "BUS2BUS Special Edition". 

Mobility continues to change and remains one of the central future topics. Innovative and sustainable transport concepts are creating new value chains internationally, which we want to highlight with our mobility events. New forms of mobility already play an important role in Messe Berlin's portfolio. With BUS2BUS, we offer the bus business a highly relevant industry platform and invite all stakeholders to further develop it together with us – this year at the digital industry event BUS2BUS Special Edition and next year again on-site. (Martin Ecknig, CEO of Messe Berlin)

Great Confidence in BUS2BUS

Discussions with already registered companies have shown how great the bus industry's confidence in BUS2BUS is. Personal exchange combined with innovative event formats make BUS2BUS unique. Here, the bus as a mode of transport is at the center, here it can be experienced. Considering the current conditions, we can only offer a full-fledged event in accustomed quality next year and have thus decided to move BUS2BUS to April 2022. Impulses for Mobility Post Covid-19

In the coming months, efforts to protect health will continue to shape public life in Germany and around the world. Unfortunately, these circumstances make it impossible to host BUS2BUS in a form that truly does justice to this industry event. We are very much looking forward to resuming close exchanges with stakeholders from the bus sector at the next edition in spring 2022. BUS2BUS Special Edition

At the originally scheduled date of BUS2BUS, there will nevertheless be a high-caliber digital industry event. The live event of the "BUS2BUS Special Edition" on April 15, 2021, will focus on interactive exchange between politics, business, technology, and media. After a welcome address from Messe Berlin and bdo, the joint dialogue with representatives from the mobility industry and politics will revolve around the theme: "The bus as a flexible and sustainable alternative in the future mobility mix."

Presentation of the International busplaner Sustainability Award 

Afterward, HUSS-VERLAG will present the International busplaner Sustainability Award, for which leading European manufacturers and suppliers as well as tech startups can apply. 

The bus is and remains an irreplaceable mode of transport to successfully and sustainably implement the 'New Mobility' and the associated changes.
