The e-bike division of the automotive supplier Brose reached a milestone for the division at the end of February. The two millionth e-bike drive was produced at the Berlin site. The "Brose Drive System" consists of a drive, battery, display, and app and is designed to offer a harmonious riding experience. They work according to established standards of the automotive industry, benefiting both manufacturers and users, the Franconians advertise. The family-owned company announced that in the summer, it will present its new e-bike system with the latest drive generation at Eurobike 2023.

"It took us almost seven years for the first million e-bike drives after our founding in 2014. We have now reached the second million just two years later. This shows how much the industry's trust in our products has increased," said David Kaminski, Head of Sales for the micro-mobility product area at Brose, at the customer event "Ride & Feel" in Berlin at the end of February.

He also cites as further reasons that the trend towards e-bikes continues unabated. On the other hand, they offer a natural riding feeling with the drive. The production is exclusively "Made in Germany," and about 89 percent of the components used also come from the European Union.

With new and innovative engine generations, the Coburg-based company aims to build on its success. At the event, manufacturers and dealers were able to get a preview of what will be presented at Eurobike 2023 in Frankfurt in early summer under the motto "Brose like never before." The two new drives are expected to technically stand out significantly from the previous members of the Brose drive family. One mid-drive motor focuses on more performance despite more compact dimensions, while the other, with its stepless automatic transmission, is set to offer new design freedoms for bicycle manufacturers and a gear-free riding experience for the end customer.
