BMDV: Kluckert to drive forward digitalization and electrification

The Federal Minister for Digital Affairs and Transport, Dr. Volker Wissing, has allocated the respective tasks of his ministry, newly renamed from "Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure," to his Parliamentary State Secretaries at the turn of the year. Since the beginning of the year, Daniela Kluckert has been responsible for the topics of Digital Infrastructure, Digital Society, Electromobility, Mobility 4.0, and Shipping. The 41-year-old completed a degree in economics at the Free University of Berlin and the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg. Since 2013, the politician has been a consultant at the Saxon State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour, and Transport in the representation of Saxony to the Federal Government. Kluckert is currently on leave from this position. The FDP politician is also the Vice-Chair of the Committee on Transport and Digital Affairs and a member of the Commission of Inquiry on Artificial Intelligence.
