Bio-Hybrid: Order Start with Discount

The recently spun-off Nürnberg cargo quad startup Bio-Hybrid from the Schaeffler Group has now opened the order books for the Duo passenger variant. At the launch of the pioneer edition of the electrically assisted and covered E-Cargobike as the Duo passenger version, the provider is offering a discount of 500 euros, bringing the price to 9,490 euros gross, just under the 10,000-euro mark. Additionally, reservations for the cargo versions are also being accepted from private and commercial customers. In the first edition, numerous features are included, such as a portable battery, charger, LED lighting system, blinkers, fully-suspended chassis, hydraulic disc brakes, panoramic roof, 5-inch multi-touch display, connectivity via 4G and GPS module, a USB charging port, and navigation with topology-based range calculation. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in August 2021, in the order of incoming orders.

Should be as comfortable as a small car

The pedelec, with its suspended four wheels, two comfortable seats, large windshield with wiper and roof, is promised by the provider to be as comfortable as a small car, yet as sustainable and agile as a classic e-bike. Furthermore, the vehicle can be driven without a driver's license and on bike paths.
