The Federal Association of Parcel and Express Logistics (BIEK) and its member companies have expressed their support for openness, tolerance, and respect towards people with a migration background in light of the resurgence of the far-right AfD.

"The parcel industry thrives on cultural diversity; people from all over the world work for parcel service providers and keep the industry running. They are indispensable for the economic development of our country," stated the association.

At the same time, the parcel industry offers everyone a chance for integration into the labor market and thus into society. People with and without a migration background, low-skilled workers or specialized professionals are welcome in the parcel industry and can start, advance, and build a career here.

"Racism, the defamation of people with a migration background, and the incitement of fears in the population have no place in our society; we strongly oppose this and will continue to do so in the future," emphasized the association.
