What makes Shenxing special is its charging capability of up to 4C, meaning: the charging power in kW is four times the battery size in kWh – for the Avatr 12, that would be 378 kW, allowing for 400 kilometers of range to be charged in ten minutes, or a complete charge in an ideal scenario in just over fifteen minutes.
With a range of 650 to 700 kilometers (according to the China cycle) – which in reality is closer to 500 kilometers plus x – the Avatr 12 would be a veritable long-distance vehicle. At the production start of the Avatr 12, Avatr CEO Tan Benhong explains:
