The exhibition "Future of Motion" – organized by the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and the Norman Foster Foundation in collaboration with Autostadt Wolfsburg – which can be seen until June 4, attempts to provide an answer to the global challenges ahead of us, including the question: "How will we move in 50 or even 100 years and how will this change our cities and countries, our work and cohabitation?" 15 of the world’s leading universities for architecture, urban planning, and mobility design - from Delft in the Netherlands to Cape Town and Seoul - under the initiative of star architect and visionary Lord Norman Foster, developed mobility scenarios for the end of the 21st century.

Together with partners from technology and industry, a fascinating and multifaceted outlook on the future of individual transportation has emerged within the context of local, national, and global challenges and perspectives, shedding light on topics such as

  • Smart Mobility in the year 2100
  • The development of future mobility on land, water, and in the air
  • Sustainable transportation systems for rural areas
  • New impulses for all transportation sectors
  • or sustainable mobility as a pioneer for the urban planning and architecture of the future

and offers possible solutions.

The exhibition can be visited during the opening hours of the Autostadt from 10 am to 6 pm with a valid day or annual pass. More info at: https://www.autostadt.de/erkunden/konzernforum/future-of-motion
