FC Bayern Munich has received its company cars for the current season at Audi Piazza in Ingolstadt. Numerous players, coaches, and officials received the keys to the all-electric premium vehicles from Audi employees. For fans of the German record champions, the official FC Bayern app is now available in the Audi Application Store. The application offers news, live ticker, and match reports, optimized for use in the car.

Superstar Harry Kane, German national team captain Joshua Kimmich, head coach Vincent Kompany, and goalkeeper Manuel Neuer drive an Audi SQ8 SUV e-tron, national player Jamal Musiala an Audi Q6 SUV e-tron, and young star Aleksandar Pavlović an Audi Q4 e-tron: Players, coaches, and officials of FC Bayern Munich receive their new company cars for the current season in Ingolstadt. The fleet has consisted exclusively of all-electric vehicles since 2020. The assistant coaches, like center-back Dayot Upamecano, also opt for an Audi SQ6 SUV e-tron. The sporty counterpart to the Q6 SUV e-tron is characterized, among other things, by a range of up to 598 kilometers and offers impressive charging performance.

E-Mobility "Made in Ingolstadt"

With the Q6 e-tron series, e-mobility is being produced for the first time from the Ingolstadt plant. The Audi RS e-tron GT performance is also in high demand, driven this season by Thomas Müller, Konrad Laimer, and Leon Goretzka, among others. Among the selected colors, Mythos Black Metallic and Daytona Gray Pearlescent dominate. Upon the arrival of the players in the team bus of FC Bayern, stadium announcer Stephan Lehmann welcomes the German record champions. Audi CEO and FCB Supervisory Board Member Gernot Döllner emphasizes the importance of the longstanding partnership:

"For more than 22 years, FC Bayern has been a strong partner by our side. We share the high standards we set for ourselves and the goal of belonging to the top group in our respective disciplines. On our journey toward an electric future, the FC Bayern professionals are important ambassadors to inspire many people with our all-electric models for e-mobility. In terms of sportiness, our vehicles are in no way inferior to the soccer professionals."

Eleven Audi employees, who had previously applied for this in the intranet, hand over the vehicle keys to the team and experience the world stars up close. The soccer professionals take ample time for autographs and souvenir photos with their fans. Michael Diederich, Deputy CEO of FC Bayern Munich:

"Whether as a team on the pitch or beyond the playing field in our society: We can only achieve something together. Sustainability is important to us as FC Bayern, and we want to lead by positive example as a club with our millions of fans around the world, also in terms of electromobility. The trusting collaboration with Audi is a valuable part of the FC Bayern sustainability strategy 'Mitnand' in this context."

The focus of the partnership between FC Bayern and Audi is strategic cooperation in the fields of innovation and electrification. At the club's facilities on Säbener Straße, the players find a total of 38 charging points. At the Allianz Arena, Audi and FC Bayern have already created more than 50 charging opportunities.

Integration of the FCB App into the Ecosystem

FC Bayern Munich is also enriching Audi's digital ecosystem: The official FC Bayern app can now be downloaded via the Audi Application Store in selected models. Audi has specially optimized the free app for in-car use and provides information via Multi Media Interface (MMI) about current news or results. During the games, FC Bayern's web radio is also available, and live tickers, match reports, statistics, and schedules can be accessed. Additional exclusive content such as interviews, livestreams, or re-live games require a subscription. Numerous functions are available while driving, however, videos can only be played when stationary or on optional passenger displays.

The Ingolstadt-based VW subsidiary has been supporting the club's men's team since 2002. In 2020, the partnership with the German record champion was extended until 2029. The premium car manufacturer has been supporting the FCB women's team since 2021. From early 2024, AUDI AG is also a partner of youth and junior development, making it the comprehensive partner of FC Bayern in top-level men's, women's, and youth sports. Audi has been a shareholder in FC Bayern Munich AG since 2011.
