Audi charge and explore: Charging made more convenient

A premium product ideally always includes a premium service. And for Audi, charging is becoming increasingly important: Nothing is worse than having to visit a partially functioning charging station in the pouring rain at night, far from any toilets and/or rest stop buildings. Audi charge and explore is designed to make charging time more enjoyable as a digital comfort service and ideally combine it with individual experiences.

Complex algorithm for thoughtful route planning

Whether along the route, at the current location, or directly at the destination – Audi charge and explore is ideally intended to offer a combination of charging station and experience based on the personal preferences of travelers. And it works like this: To determine the best charging stops, the service combines the current charge level and the battery capacity of the Audi with individual requirements for the selection of the charging station (e.g., charging speed). Finally, you choose your desired activity to experience during the charging break. The user selects activities from various categories, such as restaurants, walking, culture and sightseeing, shopping, or hotel.
