Alfa Romeo: Fans are allowed to give the baby SUV a name

The passes of the Alps might already be passé at Alfa Romeo after the Stelvio and Tonale: Traditionally, the brand has been closely connected with its global fan community and is now calling for suggestions for the name of its first all-electric vehicle model. The premiere of the SUV from the B-segment is planned for the first half of 2024. Ideas for the model name can be submitted via Alfa Romeo's official social media platforms.

Internally, the "Brennero" is known as "Kid"

The internal project name for the future Alfa Romeo is "Kid" – named after the size, which will be in the range of the Jeep Avenger, Peugeot e-2008, Volvo EX30, or Smart #1. The new SUV is intended to be just as sport-oriented as the Alfa Romeo Tonale and Alfa Romeo Stelvio.

What does this mean?

Once before, with the "Spider," Alfa Romeo asked the fans. In the end, nothing more resounding came out than with the Giulia. Next to it stood the larger "Berlina," which is nothing more than a "Sedan," and of course the "Spider" and the coupé GTV. Now, one can be all the more excited to see what the fans will name the brand's latest "Kid" – which will also be the first fully electric Alfa.
