ACE app enables contactless payment across Europe
The so-called "Connected Fueling" has been integrated into the ACE app in cooperation with PACE Telematics. With this function, payments can be made directly at the fuel pump using a mobile phone – without entering the cashier's booth. The feature is available to all users of the app and does not require ACE membership.
Comfortably pay for fuel in eight countries
With the ACE app, drivers can now conveniently pay their bills at over 7,000 gas stations across the following countries: Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Austria.
The major participating oil companies in Germany include Esso, JET, Deutsche Tamoil GmbH (HEM), Q1, Wilhelm Hoyer (Hoyer), BayWa, and Calpam. In the app, participating gas stations are marked with a blue fuel pump icon. For secure payment, only a one-time registration is necessary.

The ACE collaborates in the field of app integration with the Karlsruhe-based FinTech PACE Telematics. In addition to the ACE emergency call for breakdowns and accidents, information on fuel prices, or a mobility planner with traffic information, the ACE app now also offers mobile payment for fuel at the pump.
Various payment methods are supported, including American Express, Mastercard, and VISA credit cards, as well as giropay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and PayPal, to make the payment process as simple and flexible as possible.
