The Amsterdam-based company EVBox, with its German subsidiary in Essen, has received certification according to calibration regulations for its AC charger Liviqo, which was launched in March this year. This means it is now ready for commercial use in Germany and Austria. Through certification according to Modules B and D, both the hardware and software (EVBox Everon) are compliant with the current German calibration law. Thanks to the built-in calibration-compliant kWh meters, the EVBox Liviqo charging stations can become part of the public network, as they are displayed on public charging cards and can thus be easily found by electric car drivers. Charging station owners, in turn, can easily manage the charging cards and billing with EVBox Everon.

"The calibration certification underscores our commitment to offering a solution to companies in Germany that not only meets strict regulatory requirements but also provides a seamless and trustworthy experience for charging providers and electric vehicle users. I am particularly pleased with our display overlay technology, which provides high price transparency," emphasizes EVBox CTO Markus Dehn.
